Bangladesh enters into World’s largest Robotics Competition- Technoxian
The National Round of 1st 'World Robotics Competition'- Technoxian is going to be held in Bangladesh. This two-day long world championship robotics competition will be held at the American International University in Dhaka on March 8 and 9. Students selected from this competition will represent Bangladesh in the 8th World Robotics Competition to be held in the Indian capital New Delhi this year.
Around 1,050 competitors from 110 clubs will participate in the two-day competition in a total of 9 segments. The segments are: Robo Soccer, Robo Race, Fastest Line Follower, Drone, Water Rocket, Innovation Contest, Bots Combat, Business Case Competition and Ad Making Challenge. The 'Team Bangladesh' delegation will be formed from the winners of the national competition later through the national camp. Who will compete with more than 20,000 competitors from nearly 50 countries for the title of excellence in robotics on the international stage of Technoxian.
Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) and Frontech Limited are organizing the 1st national competition of Technoxian to be held in Bangladesh. American International University – Bangladesh is the co-host.
Redwan Ferdous, General Secretary of Technoxion Bangladesh Committee, said, "So far 3 International Robot Olympiads or competitions have been held in Bangladesh. Technoxian is the latest addition among those. As the international phase of Technoxian is held in Delhi, more contestants from Bangladesh can participate in this international phase at a very limited cost. Also, this international competition carries a prize money of around Tk 30 lakh – which will help encourage our country's competitors in robotics.”

It should be noted that Technoxian has Brainstation23, AmarPay and JRC Board as its partners in the national level competition.
